C.T. Salazar facilitates a poetry workshop completely free for any poet in or from Mississippi. These workshops focus on Mississippi’s rich poetic past, its present, and its future. These workshops are discussion-driven and generative, with all reading materials scanned and shared for access.
The first iteration of the LPF workshop took place Sundays in September 2024 and culminated in a group zine showcasing original work of twelve of the members. A printable pdf of the Zine can be downloaded here.
The second iteration of the LPF workshop took place in March of 2025 (zine forthcoming)
The third iteration of the LPF workshop is tentatively scheduled for August of 2025.
